The Red Viper introduces a lingering demise to the battlefield through the use of POISON. Rather than delivering a single, massive blow, Oberyn methodically reduces the enemy's faculties to defend themselves, ensuring his team's damage is profoundly more impactful. His kit is a masterclass in retribution: protecting his allies by ensuring no further harm can come to them, while executing a slow, agonizing vengeance upon his foes.

Skill

Too Slow On The Draw – Oberyn strikes an enemy for Physical Damage and afflicts them with POISON for a number of turns. If this ability targets an enemy who is currently POISONED, they lose Stamina and take bonus damage per stack of Viper's Bite.

Trait

The Viper's Bite – Anytime an enemy becomes POISONED, or a POISONED enemy uses a Skill, Oberyn gains a stack of Viper's Bite. Anytime Oberyn Dodges a Skill attack, he deals his attacker damage.

Leader

I Hope It Brings You Happiness – Oberyn starts battle with Viper's Bite. The enemy team Leader starts combat with Debuffs to Accuracy, Tenacity, and Stamina Rate for a number of turns. When a team member damages the enemy Leader with a Skill, these Debuffs are reapplied for additional turns.

Champion Strategy

Oberyn's true strength lies in the slow corrosion of his enemies. He is a hybrid Fighter who excels in the mid-to-late game. While he may lack an immediate knockout blow, the lingering damage of POISON and his ability to degrade the enemy Leader's defenses make him incredibly valuable. If he survives the early skirmishes, he will comfortably yield more than a single Champion's worth of value for your House.

Synergies

Three Champions:

Nymeria Sand - Nymeria’s guaranteed hit POISONS targets reliably (also applying a DEF debuff). This spikes Oberyn’s bonus damage per VIPERS BITE. Whenever an enemy is POISONED by a Skill, her traits strip stamina from them, feed her stamina, and grant dodge.

Bronn -  Counters for physical damage when any ally dodges an Ability attack. He pairs well with oberyn who gets 100% dodge when he stings an enemy with VIPERS BITE

Olenna Tyrell - She keeps POISON active across the enemy team, helping Oberyn trigger VIPER’S BITE quickly and consistently. Her Skill also supports the team with healing and crit chance, while her poison-focused traits let Oberyn make better use of his “already POISONED” Skill effects more often.

Olenna and Nymeria keep POISON spread across enemies, enabling Oberyn to trigger Viper’s Bite and his bonus effects more consistently. Daenerys supports the rotation with Stamina refunds and healing, while Olenna’s Crit Chance boost helps Khal land stronger damage. Together, the team maintains pressure through poison, stamina control, crit support, and steady survivability.
