Champion Tuning
Baratheon
For this release, we are looking to give House Baratheon a clearer faction identity focused around Gems and the SCOUT mechanic. They have larger issues we want to solve, but we don’t want to rush those changes out, so for now we’re keeping their changes simple. The Free Cities
The Free Cities have been lacking in power, so we’ve adjusted them to ensure they can continue to pack a punch throughout a match. To help them get closer to this goal, we’ve increased their damage and increased the effectiveness of their healers and support to help keep those Champions alive long enough to wear their opponents down.
We’ve also adjusted the faction bonus in order to prevent some abuse cases with the existing setup. However, outside of those cases this change shouldn’t result in any noticeable difference for players utilizing the Free Cities faction bonus.

Faction bonuses for the Free Cities adjusted to now reduce the stamina cost of abilities by 30%, 40%, and 50% rather than increase stamina gained by 30%, 40%, and 50%.

Event Tuning
Adjustments are being made to some of our existing events to align them with the success we saw from player participation in the Robb’s War event. To achieve this we are changing how some of our events handle scoring and featured Champions within those events.
General Updates
All events have had their difficulty increased. This will be more pronounced in the Dragon Egg Quest and Battle of the Bastards events as they previously had a much lower difficulty than that of Robb’s War or Assault on Rook’s Rest.
Event levels will now get more difficult as your progress further into the event.
All events now award 2 additional tokens upon completion.
The end of battle screen now has more details on how the event was scored.
You can now tap on the score details to see more information.
Dragon Egg Quest
We’ve changed the scoring for the Dragon Egg Quest event. Collecting dragon eggs wasn’t rewarding enough for players to focus on, leading to speed being far too dominant when it came to getting the top score. Since this event centers around the Targaryens, we want them to have an event where they shine. To achieve this we’ve made the following changes:
Dragon eggs no longer score points.
Dragon eggs will inflict 1 FIRE to the enemy they hit when matched.
Points will be awarded for the amount of FIRE on enemies when they are defeated.
Whenever one of your Champions’ abilities is used to inflict FIRE, it will apply an additional FIRE.
Battle of the Bastards
Similar to the Dragon Egg Quest, breaking crates, while helpful for removing BLEED, wasn’t worth the effort for the amount of score they were earning. This again allowed speed to become the dominant strategy for scoring in this event. To address these issues we changed the focus of the event to avoiding BLEED damage. The following changes were made to accomplish this:
Crates no longer award points when destroyed.
Crates will now grant BLEED immunity for 3 turns when destroyed. This effect removes existing BLEED.
Whenever you take damage from BLEED you will lose a large amount of points.
The Rain of Arrows will now strike your Champions at the start of battle, applying 3 BLEED.
Members of the Free Folk faction are immune to BLEED from the Rain of Arrows.
They can still be inflicted with BLEED from enemy Champions.
Assault on Rook’s Rest
We are happy with how this event has been performing. We’ve wanted an event where speed can be king, and we’ve actually leaned into it a bit further by increasing the importance of keeping Vhagar’s HP high.
The amount of points awarded based on Vhagar’s HP has been dramatically increased.
Bug Fixes
Champions and Enemies Fixes
