Become a Game of Thrones: Legends Character Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
ELIGIBILITY: OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ANY OF THE TERRITORIES IN WHICH GAME OF THRONES: LEGENDS (“THE GAME”) IS MADE AVAILABLE, WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE (OR THE LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THE ENTRANT’S COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, IF HIGHER). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees and their immediate families (parents, children, spouse, or siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, of Zynga Inc. (“Sponsor”), Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, the Zynga Terms of Service (https://www.zynga.com/legal/terms-of-service), and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, national and local laws.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Become a Game of Thrones: Legends Character Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins June 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) / 2:00 PM British Summer Time (“BST”) / 3:00 PM Central European Summer Time (“CEST”), and ends on June 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM EDT / June 21, 2024 at 4:59 AM BST / 5:59 AM CEST (“Sweepstakes Period”).
HOW TO ENTER: You may enter during the Sweepstakes Period in the following ways:
Via Facebook, Instagram, or X/Twitter:
Follow the Game of Thrones: Legends account on Instagram, Facebook, or X/Twitter (each, an “Entry Method”), locate the post announcing the Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes Post”), like the Sweepstakes Post, and comment on the Sweepstakes Post with the name of your favorite character from the Game of Thrones universe, and hashtags #BecomeALegendGOTL and #ZyngaSweeps. Limit one (1) Entry per Entry Method per person.

Via In-Person Pop-Up Event and Social Media:
Attend the Game of Thrones: Legends pop-up event at the Empire State Building in New York City, New York between June 10, 2024, and June 16, 2024, take a photo/video in the Game of Thrones: Legends photo booth, and share it on your Instagram, Facebook, or X/Twitter account with #BecomeALegendGOTL and #ZyngaSweeps. The post must be shared on your Feed to be eligible. Limit one (1) extra Entry per this Entry Method.
All entry information and other content submitted by an entrant as part of these Sweepstakes shall be referred to herein as an “Entry”, and collectively as the “Entries”. If you do not have a Facebook, Instagram, or X, account, establishing an account is free. All Facebook, Instagram, and X/Twitter terms apply (as applicable). Your account(s) must be set to “public” in order for your entry to be eligible. You can return the account to “private” any time after the winner has been announced.
Eligible participants may enter one (1) time per Entry Method, for no more than four (4) Entries total. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same social media accounts. Multiple Entries via an Entry Method from any person will be void. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EDT on June 20, 2024. Entries generated by script, mechanical, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor.
DRAWING: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about July 8, 2024. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform winning entry is submitted from, and winner may be required to execute and return where legal, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release and/or rights transfer document within ten (10) days of prize notification. In the event: (i) the potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) calendar days of first notification attempt; (ii) any Prize or Prize notification is returned as undeliverable; (iii) the potential winner rejects their Prize; or (iv) in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, applicable prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the applicable prize. Only three (3) alternate winners will be selected for any prize after which the applicable prize shall remain unawarded.
PRIZE (1): Upon confirmation of the potential winner’s eligibility and execution of necessary release agreements, one (1) winner (“Winner”) will have their likeness adapted by Sponsor’s art team and placed into the Game of Thrones: Legends game as a character (“Prize”). Winner will need to provide clear photos of the face to aid in the creation of the Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize is an in-game virtual good which has no monetary value. Winner is not entitled to any compensation for use of their likeness in Game of Thrones: Legends or any marketing thereof; the entire Prize is inclusion in Game of Thrones: Legends in a manner determined by Sponsor.
Prizes are awarded “as-is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. The Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer Prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize or any part of the Prize of comparable or greater value. The Prizes is not redeemable for cash. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
WINNER CONDITIONS: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to conduct background checks on potential Winner. Potential Winner must provide authorization and/or complete any forms reasonably required to facilitate such background check. Failure to comply with such search may result in disqualification and may result in selection of an alternate Winner. Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify a potential Winner based on the results of such background check, if the Sponsor determines, in its sole and absolute discretion that awarding this opportunity to such potential Winner might reflect negatively on the Sweepstakes, Sponsor, and/or the Released Entities. Factors that may result in disqualification of a potential Winner or guest include, without limitation, conviction of a felony or misdemeanor, or any other criminal or civil offense as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor or, if Sponsor determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that awarding a prize status to such individual may reflect unfavorably on the Sweepstakes, Sponsor, and/or the Released Entities.
PUBLICITY GRANT: Participation in Sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsor to use their name, address (city and state and country), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information, Entry and/or any statements made by each winner regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Home Box Office, Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, service agencies, independent contractors, advertising and promotion agencies, web hosting and service and fulfillment providers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded Prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the Released Parties be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, emails, phone calls, or communications of any kind; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the Prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the Winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken using the winner determination procedure outlined above or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
DISPUTES; GOVERNING LAW: THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE INTERPRETATION OF ITS TERMS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICTS OF LAWS RULES. Entrant residents in the United States of America hereby waive all rights to trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association and hereby agree that any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of New York, City of New York.
USE OF DATA: All personal data submitted to, or collected by, Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, will be processed by Sponsor and/or its data processors in accordance with its privacy policy for the sole purposes of conducting, administering and marketing the Sweepstakes. Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy at https://www.zynga.com/privacy/policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby acknowledge that: (i) they have read and accepted the Sponsor’s privacy policy; (ii) Sponsor has a valid and legitimate interest in processing their personal data for these purposes; and (iii) Sponsor’s legitimate interests are not outweighed by their own interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
WINNER LIST: Winner information may be published on Game of Thrones: Legends social media accounts, in the form of surname and country, or such other reasonable form selected by Sponsor. Any United Kingdom entrant may request that the amount of information about them published in the way described above be reduced, by contacting the Sponsor via direct message to @GameOfThronesLegends on Facebook and Instagram, or @GOTLegends on X/Twitter. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Sponsor may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s Entry, to the United Kingdom’s Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. By way of example, this may happen if the Sponsor is required to demonstrate that it has awarded any advertised prizes.
