What We’re Focusing On - February 2026
Hello House Leaders,
We’re kicking off February by sharing our latest development plan! We’ve heard your feedback regarding the need for more transparency, and we want to be clear about our bug-fixing priorities, the current direction of the game, and new ideas we’re exploring. Please note: The details below are subject to change and aren’t a promise or a guarantee.
Our goal is to ensure you feel heard and to show the active steps we are taking to address community feedback. Your feedback is driving these priorities, and we hope this provides further confidence in where we’re headed together.
Current Focus
Monitoring Brienne’s performance to determine whether the tuning changes we made to her were too effective, not effective enough, or landed where we wanted. Brienne’s changes were intended to address what we perceived (as well as some community reports) as something not fun to play against.
Working on a better way to communicate directly with the community regarding specific issues/bugs reported. We’d like to be more transparent about our thoughts and process regarding your feedback - but we also need to be candid.
We fix bugs and issues with every release (see our regularly posted patch notes). However we have heard the ask to address even more gameplay bugs and issues and we agree. This began in our February release and will have increased focus in the near term. The updates will not be the same priority for any individual, but we’re hoping the sentiment of the bullet above will help to address that.
Addressing beta feedback, balance, and preparation to release Faction Bonus Revamp
More details coming on what the final Revamp will look like during the week of Feb 9th. The Faction Bonus update will not be going live until mid-late February.
Addressing UX of Faction Bonus Revamp based on feedback from the beta test.
Economy quality of life improvements (increased resource inflows).
Convert Dragon Skillbooks to Beast Skillbooks. Dragon Skillbooks will be removed from the game.
Improved onboarding experience for new players.
Making impactful defensive team improvements to all champions with Gem-based abilities.
Improving the attack power of defensive teams overall as defensive teams are not performing with our intended difficulty.
Scoring adjustments and improvements to all events to ensure gameplay remains fresh and competitive.
Addressing an issue with the Night King’s Leader ability that is negatively impacting some battles.
Upcoming Consideration
Continued focus on addressing champion issues.
Quality of life - reduced time investment in PvE content.
Additional econ quality of life improvements (resources and rewards).
Support for dragons in Raids.
Expanded and improved Shop & Offers.
Reduction of energy costs for events.
Exploring
Concepts we’re interested in, but not committed to yet
We have some initial plans in place to improve Alliance Legendary Assault experience, including ways to allow all members to participate with their best efforts, as well as finding ways to make the bosses have varying difficulties and require more unique play styles to defeat.
We’d like to offer players a way to exchange some of the leveling resources they’ve invested in champions - in order to re-invest them in other champions, and are exploring ways to do this with fair limits in place.
We’re exploring additional ways to improve defensive team performance in terms of how auto-attack works, as well as how enemy auto-play AI works.
From all of us on the Game of Thrones: Legends team, thank you for your patience and continued commitment to helping us make this game the best it can be.
Notes: This roadmap is not a promise or guarantee. Features and priorities are subject to change.
