Champion Tuning

Brienne of Tarth

We’ve been monitoring Brienne’s performance, and have made some changes to her. In addition to her counter attack slowing down gameplay, her Leader ability is enabling an unintended play pattern with SHIELD teams (especially vs AoE enemies) that we don’t want to encourage. We realize this does reduce some of her effectiveness, so we’ve buffed her counter damage and Skill speed.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed an issue with Brienne’s counter attack VFX was appearing more often than it should, causing gameplay delays.

Skill

  • Counter activation (SHIELD damage): Team Members → Allies

  • Reaction tuning: Per Target → 2x Per Turn

  • Counter attack damage: 30% (60%) → 40% (75%)

  • Stamina Speed: Normal → Fast

  • SHIELD multiplier 20% (40%) → 15% (35%)

Leader

  • Triggers only when ally SHIELDS break from a Skill

  • Reaction tuning: Per Target → 1x Per Turn

Bug Fixes

Champions and Enemies Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Barristan Selmy's Leader ability would only sacrifice HP when he had a shield.

  • Fixed Euron Greyjoy's Skill text description

  • Fixed a text bug where it looked like Areo Hotah's Leader upgrade was going to give him +250% bonus HP. Now correctly displays 5% (actual value).

Iconic Items Fixes

  • Fixed Stannis Baratheon's (Lord of Storm’s End) Iconic Item upgrade text to read that the ability damage is "increased by 50%" instead of "increased to 50%"

  • Fixed a minor issue with Brienne of Tarth's Iconic Item max level ability description where the term powerups was used instead of Power-Up.

Additional General Fixes

  • Fixed an error that was causing Gear to not be correctly awarded on the first time completion of battles in chapters 4 - 12
