Maester Aemon enters the realm as a Green Legendary Strategist, bringing profound defensive fortitude through SHIELDS and empowering both SHIELD and FIRE team archetypes. As a master of counsel who deals no direct combat damage, Maester Aemon mends the defenses of your forces with powerful DEF SHIELDS, REMOVES debilitating Debuffs, and bestows ATK Buffs to turn the tide of battle. When allies suffer critical hits or fall in combat, his eternal devotion ignites FIRE upon your foes and grants RENEW to fortify the remaining defenders of the realm.

Let The Man Be Born - Maester Aemon grants a team member a DEF-based SHIELD and REMOVES Debuffs from them. He then grants that team member and adjacent allies an ATK Buff and an Unnatural Resistance Buff for a number of turns.

Love Is The Death Of Duty – When an ally gains a SHIELD from a Skill, Maester Aemon has a chance to grant them RENEW. The first time each turn a Night’s Watch ally gains a SHIELD from a Skill, he SCOUTS the Weakest enemy for a number of turns. The first time each turn a Targaryen ally gains a SHIELD from a Skill, he afflicts the Strongest enemy with FIRE.

Never See Their Like Again – At the start of battle, Maester Aemon grants all team members a SHIELD based on their Max HP. When a team member is defeated, he afflicts the attacker and adjacent enemies with FIRE, grants his Weakest team member a DEF-based SHIELD and REMOVES all Debuffs from them.
Champion Strategy
Maester Aemon serves as a defensive cornerstone, safeguarding his allies through robust SHIELDS and tactical status management rather than direct attack. Although his Skill requires time to charge due to its Slow speed, his Leader Ability guarantees that your entire squad enters battle protected by SHIELDS. Pair him with Targaryen or Night’s Watch allies to maximize his RENEW triggers, or incorporate him into FIRE compositions where enemy critical strikes and fallen allies continuously ignite the battlefield.

Three Champions:
Alliser Thorne (Night's Watch Master at Arms) - Alliser's Skill puts a SHIELD on a chosen ally. Point it at a Night's Watch champion and Aemon's Passive SCOUTs the Weakest enemy on the first Skill SHIELD of the turn. Keep Alliser next to Aemon's Skill target so he also picks up the ATK Buff and Unnatural Resistance. Run Alliser as Leader instead of Aemon if you want Strongest and Weakest shielded every turn on top of Aemon's opening SHIELDS.
Samwell Tarly (Steward Of The Night's Watch) - Samwell's Skill SHIELDS the whole team in one hit, so both halves of Aemon's Passive can fire at once: SCOUT the Weakest because a Night's Watch ally was shielded, and FIRE the Strongest because Aemon himself is Targaryen. Every Skill SHIELD also has a chance to grant RENEW, and Samwell then HEALS and REMOVES Debuffs from those shielded allies.
Benjen Stark (First Ranger) - Use Aemon's Skill on Benjen. That SHIELD is what turns Benjen's Skill on: he already Deposes a single enemy, and with a SHIELD he also deals SHIELD Bonus Damage. Because Benjen is Night's Watch, that same Skill SHIELD is the first one Aemon needs to SCOUT the Weakest, so Benjen's next hit is aimed at an exposed target. Keep him adjacent to Aemon's Skill target so he also gets the ATK Buff, and Aemon's opening SHIELDS as Leader mean Benjen can cash in that bonus damage from the first turn.

Raids
In Raids, Aemon keeps the team alive with SHIELDS, then turns those Skill SHIELDS into SCOUT on the Weakest enemy and FIRE on the Strongest. As Leader, everyone starts already SHIELDED, and if an ally falls he SHIELDS the Weakest, REMOVES their Debuffs, and burns the attacker and the enemies beside them. He is a dual-faction Night's Watch–Targaryen champion, so one Skill SHIELD on the right ally can fire both halves of his Passive in the same fight.
Legendary Assault
In Legendary Assault, Aemon is one of the best supports in the game against Drogon. Drogon punishes teams that skip their Skills, and Aemon's Night's Watch allies are built to Skill every turn: Samwell SHIELDS the whole team, Alliser and Yoren keep SHIELDS rolling, and Benjen cashes those SHIELDS in for damage while SCOUT keeps the Weakest target exposed. Unnatural Resistance and Aemon's cleanses keep the Wall standing through Drogon's Fire Damage.
