Campaign Rewards Update
Greetings House Leaders,
As some have you have already noticed we’ve made some changes to how Gear Chests appear in our updated Campaign Battles. Unfortunately this update was missed in our patch notes so the change was not well communicated to you the players and for that we apologize.
Eagle-eyed players have discovered our loot system in the Campaign was displaying what rarity of Gear was going to drop from a battle before playing it. This was not the intended experience, but it took us some time to address this problem while we’ve also been making strides at improving the Campaign experience.
In the old system, players had no way of knowing where they might even find Legendary Gear. This change helps address that problem and displays which levels have a chance of dropping Legendary Gear. However in our last update, not only have we made it easier to find where Legendary Gear drops, but we also DOUBLED the chance of Legendary Gear dropping from these Chests.
Visual Updates
Gear Chest will now display based on what the highest possible gear drop could be instead of showing exactly what it will be.
The Knight Gear Chest (the Silver colored chest), has a chance to drop Common or Epic Gear.

The Royal Gear Chest (the Gold colored chest), has a chance to drop Common, Epic, or Legendary Gear.

What does this mean?
Simply put: this means that if you’re seeing a Royal Gear Chest you’re not guaranteed to get a Legendary piece of gear, but rather you have a chance of getting one. You might also get an Epic or Common piece of gear.
If you tap on one of these new chests, you’ll see that the tooltip description has also changed for these chests stating:
“Chance to earn 1 Legendary or lower rarity Gear.”

Ongoing Improvements
We hear your feedback on this and we will continue to listen and explore ways to better display this information so it will be easier for all players new and old to be able to find the pieces of Legendary Gear they are hunting for. Until then we appreciate your patience while we keep iterating on this and to make sure we clearly communicate changes when they do happen.
