As an elite combatant, he stands as a high-risk, high-reward powerhouse whose strikes depend on his health. While he possesses remarkable solo capabilities, his true lethality is unlocked when supported by capable menders and Birthright granters who keep his blade sharp and his resolve unbroken.

Do you think nothing of your oath? – Gwayne Hightower deals devastating damage by striking an enemy twice, dealing ATK Physical Damage with the first blow and executing a secondary strike that inflicts a percentage of his Current HP as True Damage.
Trait
My Thanks to the Queen Dowager – Whenever Gwayne Hightower is HEALED or granted BIRTHRIGHT, he receives a boost to his Critical Damage and Critical Strike Chance for a number of turns, while also re-gaining a percentage of his Stamina.

Grown tired of living, have you? – Gwayne Hightower gains an HP guard. Once per turn, when an ally is Debuffed, he retaliates by striking the assailant for a percentage of his Current HP as True Damage. At less than a quarter health, he instead delivers a devastating ATK based strike to the strongest enemy.
Champion Strategy
Gwayne Hightower plays as a strong single-target damage dealer who best performs when healed frequently, as his skill inflicts damage based upon his Current HP. To utilize him best, he must be paired alongside menders and birthright granters; as that triggers his passive to which boosts his critical capabilities and replenishes his Stamina. His Leader Ability punishes Enemies that Debuff his Allies. It also offers a high-risk gameplay, where at his low health he deals a devastating strike to the Strongest enemy.

Three Champions:
Alicent Hightower - Gwayne's sister skill gives him the Heal and Birthright which triggers his passive twice, stacking Critical Damage and Critical Strike Chance. Her team heals and leader grants of Birthright when allies take skill damage keep Gwayne's HP high, maximizing his skill's bonus damage and his leader retaliation while he's above half health.
Egg - Egg buffs allied Fighters' ATK and periodically grants the team Critical Strike Chance and Critical Damage, amplifying Gwayne's crit-focused kit. His critical heals grant Stamina so Gwayne can fire his HP-scaling skill more often, while his debuff removal helps allies recover when enemies trigger Gwayne's protective leader response.
Otto Hightower - The Hand opens combat with Birthright and Stamina that kick-start the Greens engine Gwayne depends on. His leader returns Stamina whenever an ally damages the strongest enemy with a Skill, rewarding Gwayne's single-target burst, while Otto's Birthright-fueled DEF shred softens targets for Gwayne's ATK based strikes.

Best Battle Modes
Gwayne will work well in Raids as a generalist fighter that can work on multiple different teams and also in ABB mainly through his True Damage.
Gwayne is designed to be a strong single target damage dealer who at maximum health deals devastating damage to any kind of enemy through True Damage. His Passive, triggered by being HEALED or when given BIRTHRIGHT, grants him Critical Damage and Chance buffs and fills his Stamina. If surrounded by and focused on by a team of Menders, and protected by a Tank, Gwayne can deal devastating damage to the enemy team throughout the battle.
