4/28/2025 Update -- Patch Notes
Greetings House Leaders,
A new update has arrived! Read on to learn more about new features, tuning, and bug fixes for the newest Game of Thrones: Legends release!
New
The Color Summons now have 100% chance to drop Champion shards of their respective colors. For example, the Green Summon will now always have a 100% chance of summoning Green Champions.
Future Crown's Challenge Seasons will start and end at 18:00:00 UTC (2PM ET)
New TREASURY Mechanic
Many existing Champions will have modified kits that adopt a new mechanic that has a cost in gold Coins that can be collected by matching Coin Gems on the Puzzle Board. This has been introduced with many Lannister Champions in order to meter their control-based play style, allowing us to push the impact of effects like DECEIVE, STUN, and WOUND. This mechanic introduces a new way to empower any ability - and you’ll see that more than just Lannisters employ it.
When you bring a Champion with a TREASURY ability to battle, you’ll notice a Coin counter in the gameplay HUD. Tap it for more information about the TREASURY.
All TREASURY enabled Champions will generate Coin Gems on the Puzzle Board at various turns during the battle, so you can expect to see them spawn periodically, while some Champions will spawn Coin Gems as part of their abilities.
Coins will be automatically spent based on your Skill use choices. You’ll see whether a Champion’s TREASURY empowered ability is ready with a Coin icon appearing on their team thumbnail.
The Lannisters faction bonus now factors into this mechanic, with the following bonuses applied:
3 Lannister Champions: Start with 3 Coins in the Treasury
4 Lannister Champions: Start with 4 Coins in the Treasury
5 Lannister Champions: Start with 5 Coins in the Treasury
New Champion
Legendary Violet High Born Protector: Sandor Clegane (Joffrey’s Guard)
A fast, ferocious guardian - shielding allies while shaking enemies with deceptive fury.
Skill - The Hateful Things I Do (Very Fast)
Sandor marks an ally and gives them a 10% (15%) Max HP SHIELD. TREASURY (5): If Sandor uses this Skill on a previously marked ally, he deals 400% (600%) damage to a random enemy and DECEIVES them for 3 turns.
Passive - Save Yourself Some Pain
Sandor is both a Baratheon and Lannister. The first time Sandor marks an ally, he spawns 2 (4) Coin Gems. When his marked ally uses their Skill, both he and his marked ally are HEALED for 15% (25%) of their respective ATK.
Leader - I Won’t Hurt You Little Bird
Anytime Sandor or his marked ally are HEALED, he destroys 1 Gem, prioritizing Power-Ups.
