What We're Focusing On - April 2026
Hello House Leaders,
The April roadmap is here! We’re excited to share what’s happening behind the scenes as we continue to shape the world of Game of Thrones: Legends together. Below, you’ll find a breakdown of our primary goals, an inside look at our current priorities, and an update on the features we’ve been working on since our last update.
Our Current Goals
Performance: Improving game stability and gameplay performance.
Player Experience: Increasing the player experience and quality of life.
Economy & Progression: Setting goals and benchmarks for Champion progression and making adjustments, improvements and features to achieve them.
Champion Performance: Monitoring faction/play style performance and working to ensure all factions have a fighting chance.
What We’re Focusing On
Current Focus
Continuing to monitor Faction Bonuses, make adjustments and push for balance across all teams (both on attack and defense) where possible.
Continued economy quality of life improvements (increased resource inflows). Phase 3 focuses on continuing to boost Champion level-up resource inflows, particularly from Chapter rewards, Trials, and other PvE modes.
Looking into giving players another try at Jaqen H’ghar’s Proving Ground, in response to the feedback that it was very difficult.
Putting the final touches on our enhancements to the Shop that will make different play modes and events more rewarding across the board.
Rolling out the “Overkill” scoring parameter to events. This will not have a huge impact on scores other than to serve as a tie-breaking mechanic at the top end of the leaderboards.
Major improvements to the Shop that will make different play modes more rewarding across the board.
Along with the Shop improvements, some tuning and scoring adjustments will be made to most of the events.
Upcoming Focus
Work soon to begin on big improvements to Alliance Legendary Assault systems, including mechanics that will:
Allow all alliance members to participate with their best efforts.
Allow the bosses to have improved kits, tuning, and individual difficulty levels.
Improve rewards for all alliance members.
We’re beginning to plan for the release of House of the Dragon S3 with fresh, relevant content and new ways to battle with it! Roar!
Inflows for a new “Exalted” Token to be primarily used to recruit newly released Champions.
Exploring
We are working on designs for some additional quality of life features, such as:
Reduced time investment in certain PvE modes.
A Skillbook respec feature.
Introducing more ways for players to test out new and existing Champions, whether in game content or against one another for no stakes.
We’re exploring some new ways for Trials to provide more, and more unique challenges that are relevant to current releases.
We are also rethinking some of the current event mechanics, with the goal of keeping them fresh and making participation more exciting.
Released or Update from last month
Jaqen H’ghar: Made a fix for his super powerful true damage hits on Legendary Assault dragons, which was accompanied by a buff to his damage overall.
BLEED Buff: As of writing this, the BLEED Buff is in our next client release ready to be delivered to our Bolton players. Check the patch notes for the details.
Economy: We’ve released phase 2 of some important economy improvements to increase Champion level up resources across several features.
Lannister & Bolton Bonuses: After seeing less-than ideal performance with the Lannisters and Boltons after the Faction Bonus changes, we’ve changed their additional bonus from Durability to DEF.
Night King Leader Ability Issue: A tuning-only fix for this has gone out, but we’re going to be addressing the core issue soon as well.
Notes: This roadmap is not a promise or guarantee. Features and priorities are subject to change.
