Ser Duncan the Tall has entered the field of battle to protect the weak and prove his strength! Read on to learn more about this new Legendary Champion, and play now to test out this Champion’s might!

Spring is Coming

To celebrate the A Knight of a Seven Kingdoms premiere new Champions and a new event will be arriving throughout Spring in Game of Thrones: Legends.

Ser Duncan the Tall is available to summon NOW, and will soon be accompanied by his loyal young squire, Egg, who will arrive in early February. These two Champions are designed to be a sturdy and supportive duo, protecting and buffing their allies to create an unstoppable team!

New Event: Tourney at Ashford Meadow

Monday, February 9, at 1 p.m. ET – Sunday, February 15, at 1 p.m. ET

In the upcoming Tourney at Ashford Meadow mini-game event, enter the list to face off against rival knights in a joust. Choose one of three virtues to leverage against your opponents--Speed, Power, or Aim--and compete against the rival knight's own chosen virtue. Once the joust begins, you will either win and proceed to the next joust and greater rewards, or lose everything you’ve won thus far. Each decision is high-risk, high-reward —after each round, you can decide whether to continue pursuing greater glory or walk away with your winnings.

Gem Color: Gold

A defender of the weak, Ser Duncan the Tall is a stalwart tank that will provide protection for his allies from the start of battle. In addition to extremely high DEF, his DUNK’S VOW effect allows him to retaliate against enemies who hurt his weakest ally. Dunk introduces a new way to shield allies from damage with the BLOCK mark. A single BLOCK mark will expend itself preventing an instance of incoming damage. BLOCK stacks up to 3.

Skill

Thick As A Castle Wall (Normal) – Dunk TAUNTS the enemy side for a few turns, grants himself a Current HP SHIELD, and gains stacks of DUNK’S VOW.

Passive

Unyielding Frame – When an ally's HP drops below 50%, Dunk grants them a BLOCK mark. When Dunk stops TAUNTING he grants all team members BLOCK. When an ally uses it to block incoming damage, Dunk gains RENEW and a DEF Buff for a few turns.

Leader

Knight Of The Realm – Dunk begins the battle with BLOCK and TAUNTING for a few turns. All team members gain a DEF boost and a HP SHIELD for a number of turns. At higher levels, the DEF Buff becomes indefinite.

Champion Strategy

Ser Duncan is ideal for players who prefer a slower ramping playstyles, using FIRE, ICE,, or FURY. Because it takes a lot to take Duncan down, he provides reliable protection while the rest of the team builds firepower (literally, in the case of the Targaryens).

Synergies

Three Champions:

Daenerys Tagaryen (Mother of Dragons) – Use Dunk’s Skill and Passive to TAUNT and protect Daenerys from harm while she builds up FIRE stacks on enemies. Her Iconic Item ability may also grant Duncan FURY which can help him TAUNT more often and maybe even become ENRAGED.
Rhaenyra Targaryen (The Black Queen) – Duncan can draw fire away from Rhaenyra as she builds up FURY to unleash ENRAGED and give Duncan both Stamina boosts to use his ability as well as an additional DEF buff when he enters ENRAGED.
Jon Snow (King In The North) – ICE, like FIRE, takes time to build. Draw attacks away from Jon Snow with Duncan as the former stacks up ICE on enemies.

Duncan synergizes well with slow ramping teams who use effects like FIRE or FURY. He can defend and absorb damage while the Targaryens build up their FIRE on enemies, and utilize the Stamina-building and defense effects from FURY and ENRAGED.

This Summon will require Splendid Summon Tokens.
