New Starks Are Coming!

Greetings House Leaders,

Winter is coming early with three new champions joining the Stark faction in August - September! Starting with Brienne of Tarth, The True Knight. Then Lyanna Mormont, the young Lady of Bear Island. And, after them, a new version of Ned Stark is coming. 

A Knight, a Lady and the Hand of The King

Brienne of Tarth fights the way she lives: by her word. She attacks one enemy and those beside them with freezing force, growing more dangerous each time her allies spread the cold. With Brienne leading the charge, her companions stand firmer while frozen foes are left exposed. Launch Date (8/26)

Lyanna Mormont, small in stature but immense in will. She rewards a team that strikes in the right order, turning one assault into the next until the enemy finally breaks. When opponents try to silence, restrain or mislead her allies, Lyanna keeps the North fighting and ensures a Stark leader is ready to answer immediately. Launch Date (9/09)

Last, but certainly not least, comes Ned Stark, The Hand of the King. He protects his allies by taking their burdens upon himself, restores those who fight loyally beside him and fills the battlefield with swift, punishing judgment. Launch Date (9/23)

The North Fights as One

Brienne of Tarth, Lyanna Mormont and Ned Stark are formidable Champions individually, but their greatest value emerges when they fight together.

Owning all three champions gives Starks a new play boost:

• Brienne, as one of the best swordswomen, savages the enemy.

• Lyanna maintains momentum and counters enemy control.

• Ned inspires and protects his allies while taking their burdens onto himself. 

Brienne's oath, Lyanna's allegiance and Ned's honor are different expressions of the same Northern principle: The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.
