New Champions Are Coming!
Greetings House Leaders,
Three new champions are coming to Game of Thrones: Legends from the armies of the Reach to the halls of Castle Black and they bring new strategies and all new dual faction possibilities to the battlefield.
The Beacon of the South
Ormund Hightower, Heralded Protector for the Greens. Fresh from Season 3 of House of the Dragon and at the head of the Hightower army, Ormund brings the prestige and power of Oldtown to the Greens. He stands as a steadfast protector, rallying his forces and reinforcing the faction’s ranks as they march to war.
Brothers Across Generations (& Shows)
Featured across two vastly different time periods, the brothers Aerion Targaryen and Maester Aemon each bring unique powers to Targaryens with their dual-faction identities.
Aerion Targaryen, Renowned Rogue* for the Targaryens & Way of the Whispers
Aerion is a fast-striking champion who pursues the weakest enemy. He is most dangerous while fire and bleed are afflicted and this combination makes him especially useful against Rhaegal in Legendary Assault.
Maester Aemon, Wise Strategist for the Targaryens & Night’s Watch
The first champion to unite the Targaryens and Night’s Watch, Aemon shields and cleanses allies. His kit rewards both sides of his heritage: shielding Night’s Watch allies helps defeat vulnerable enemies, while shielding Targaryens brings FIRE upon the strongest foe.
Each of these new champions bring unique and new powers and faction combinations to the battlefield and we can’t wait to see the teams you all will create!
*Marksmen become Rogue
We feel that the Marksmen class needs some love and that there are future Champions, who don’t use ranged weapons, who would fit well in the high-damage & low-health archetype. With that we have renamed Marksmen to Rogue, all skillbooks and gear carry over!
