Lord Ormund Hightower is a formidable commander who front-loads early aggression before sustaining his forces through the middle and late stages of combat. As a Gold Gem Champion fighting for the Greens, Lord Ormund grants massive early-game CRITICAL STRIKE capabilities to his allies. Furthermore, he punishes enemy teams who rely on spending TREASURY Coins, making him a devastating counter to Lannister compositions.
Skill
Strength, Honour, Wisdom, and Justice – Ormund deals Physical Damage to all enemies. If used during the first 10 turns of combat, all enemies suffer a DEF Debuff. From turn 11 onwards, all allies gain a DEF Buff on Skill use instead.
Trait
Light The Way – For the first 10 turns of combat, Ormund grants his team a CRITICAL STRIKE CHANCE and CRITICAL DAMAGE boost. Ormund also possesses an HP GUARD at 50% health. The first time he drops to it, all team members gain BIRTHRIGHT, and he deals Physical Damage to all enemies while removing Buffs from each of them.

All The Honor Of A Mummer's Fart – At the start of combat, Ormund grants HOLY PURPOSE to three allies at random. If an ally with HOLY PURPOSE is defeated, they are replaced by a TAUNTING Hightower Guardsman. Additionally, Ormund grants his team BIRTHRIGHT every time TREASURY Coins are spent by the enemy team.
Champion Strategy
Ormund Hightower solves a key tactical challenge for Green teams: sustaining momentum after the initial assault. His passive ability drives devastating early-game damage through critical strike boosts during the first 10 turns. Should the battle extend past turn 10, his Skill smoothly shifts into a protective defensive boost for all allies. Against Lannister teams, his Leader ability continuously turns their TREASURY spending into BIRTHRIGHT for your forces.

Ormund has boundless utility regardless of team composition. As a Strategist, he bolsters his team Defence and compromising his enemy’s at the same time. Meanwhile, as the commander of a fearsome army, he allows most any team to have a mid-game boost in destructive capabilities thanks to his BIRTHRIGHT grants and his Critical-Strike Buffs.
As a Leader, Ormund’s unique abilities allow him to REINFORCE the battlefield even as allies fall in combat. His summoned soldiers grant team members a useful pause in battle to build their strength and begin another volley of attacks at the enemy.
When he is paired with fellow Hightowers and Green-alligned Champions like Aegon II, Aemond, and Criston Cole; the enemy’s chances of surviving late into a battle diminish. However, even if the enemy does manage to do so, including Champions like Tylind Lannister help him to keep the team alive and fighting long after most others would have fallen.
