What We're Focusing On - July 2026

Hey House Leaders!

The July roadmap is here! We’re excited to share what’s happening behind the scenes as we continue to shape the world of Game of Thrones: Legends together. Below, you’ll find a breakdown of our primary goals, an inside look at our current priorities, and an update on the features we’ve been working on since our last update.

Our Current Goals

  • Performance: Improving game stability and gameplay experience, especially focusing on reducing bugs in gameplay.

  • Events: Making adjustments to event tuning and featured champions in order to reward a more diverse playing style.

  • Economy & Progression: Monitoring the permanent and event stores to get you the best possible offers that enhance your gameplay.

  • Player Experience: Increasing the player experience and quality of life.

What We’re Focusing On

Current Focus

  • Actively exploring ways in which players can earn more exalted summon tokens as rewards. 

  • Addressing the bug in Alliance War where players are reporting an incorrect defeat. 

  • Rebalancing the skill book economy to make sure players can upgrade skills at a quicker pace.

  • Rebalancing the iconic material economy so players have the optimal amount of resources to upgrade their iconic items.

  • We are currently finalizing new abilities for certain champions that introduce a new targeting mechanic to combat. This system expands tactical options by allowing characters to directly target adjacent enemies during battle.

Upcoming Focus

  • Continuing the implementation of the Alliance Legendary Assault improvements! We are exploring ways in which alliances can progress further and earn better rewards. This will also include mechanics that will allow all alliance members to participate with their best efforts to help their alliance.

  • We have commenced work on an all-new event featuring fresh gameplay mechanics designed for your enjoyment.

  • Reviewing champion ability data based on community feedback to ensure these mechanics provide a balanced and rewarding combat experience.

  • Continuing the implementation of a webstore which would allow you to purchase in-game items from an official game website.

  • We are working on making the summoning of champions more targeted so we ensure your resources are used in a more meaningful way.

Exploring

  • We have started ideating on reworking factions to make them broader so more champions feel useful across all game modes which means regrouping smaller factions in new, bigger ones. More information to follow in a separate post on the website in due time.

  • We are reviewing new ways to help onboard new players with a simpler, more guided start to the game to make the player journey smoother.

  • Based on the data from the special, one-time Egg Hunt event, released to celebrate the launch of the season 3 of the TV show House of The Dragon, we are now exploring doing similar refreshing mechanics to existing events.

Released or Update from last month

  • Introduced dragons into PvP combat to heat up the Raids!

  • Released pillaging, which allows you to instantly auto-complete a battle and earn immediate rewards without battling.

  • Released a special, one-time Egg Hunt event to celebrate the launch of House of The Dragon season 3.

  • Fixed bugs pertaining to Meryn Trant’s Leader ability which was skewing the balance of PvP battles unfairly.
